Hi This is my latest make using AnnaMarie Design, stamps, Blooming figurine and Special Birthdays.
I also used Tim Holtz tattered floral die cut flower, as my friend Polly, taught me.
I made the card for my friend and neighbour Nickie's birthday.
Hope you like it, Thanks for looking.

Yesterdays Inspiration
Hi, as the weather turned and rain set in at lunch time today, I thought, whoopee I am going in my craft room, and put some the techniques I have learned following a really special day visiting IndigoBlu in Retford for their open day, again Jackie and I were treated like princesses and even had a VIP tour around the factory by Andy, it was so interesting to see how the stamps were made, and how our orders are processed.
Kay, her family, staff her demonstrators (design team) made us so welcome, it really was a red letter day.
we learned so much and came away with lots of goodies and some bargains.
I made this card for my Sister-in-Law, Ann, she likes Hares, so this was my starting point for this card.
I remembered a free stamp IndigoBlu gave away with Craft Stamper magazine in April 2012.
I made a colour wash using Indigoblu acrylic paint, Grandmas teacup, blue and Banana Custard yellow. Stamped with Versafine, Sepilia ink, using the dandelion and a branch stamped in Stazon, Forest Green, the hares and wording, were stamped in black, I backed my image with Kraft card and put it on an 8x8 Anna Marie Designs black card, also used Anna Marie Designs happy birthday stamp set which has family names to make the card
personal.
I was a joy to use such beautiful products.

Great Day with MDF Man and Alison and Ian from Ali Craft
Hi, I had a wonderful day, yesterday with my friend Jackie, we went to the MDF Man's factory to decorate a Secret Box. Rob and his girlfriend looked after us like princesses.
Alison and Ian from Ali-craft were so inspiring, and taught us all sorts of things about decorating an MDF box using acrylic paints, distress inks and stains, stamping including a Julie Nutting stamp and learning how to stamp onto pretty papers to decorate our stamped images.
We turned ordinary buttons into metallic embellishments, the whole day was just a treat. I came home with so many ideas and new techniques. Here is the finished result.
I absolutely love my new treasure box.

I would like to show you a card I made using Graphic 45, Secret Garden, A Place in Time, also Ladies Diary, papers and chipboard embellishments. As the Graphic 45 papers are so beautiful on both sides, I did not want to stick the roses tag down, so I made pockets for it to sit in and it can be removed and used it as a book mark etc. I stamped the left rose pocket,I used vintage ribbons and metal embellishments. I also used Tim Holtz distress inked the edges of the papers.
This photo shows the card with the tag removed, as you can see I added extra embellishments, to enhance the card when the tag is removed.
I hope you enjoy looking at these as much as I enjoyed making them.
Thank you
Sandy

My Recent Magical Makes
These are my latest makes, which I really enjoyed making.
I made this keyholder and the key ring charm as a present for a good friend who has just moved, this is her new home present.
The key holder is a MDF key, covered in a terracotta colour acrylic paint
followed by a cream layer of acrylic paint, then Kroma Crackle Glaze from Indigoblu.
I covered the key with Graphic 45, secret garden papers, (from Ali Craft), painted the papers in slap it on to give them a protective coating,
The die cut butterfly has been dipped in my melt pot, my latest large purchase, which I absolutely love, everything is going to be dipped in utee now. It really does give your papers a new life as an embellishment's and makes them into a keepsake. The key charm is a Tim Holtz swivel clasp/key charm, some beads from my stash and Tim Holtz charms.
I am going to enter these into the following challanges
